Yes this is how it was when I bought my first car on HP. Now I grew up in a time when the Toyota TRD Sprinter was released as a production car.
I remember when the first one was purchased one of the street racers of that time "Dickie Pandit" Brought it to the street racers and man o man what a car it was at the time.
Dickie took the car and beat the hell out the Big six Fords babbas of the time. Here a 4 cylinder normally aspirated knocked the socks off the Ford Big sixes.
Now at the time Ford reigned supreme. It was first the Big 6 then the XLE then came the 30S, then the XR6 then the XR6 interceptor and so on.
So for the time the Toyota TRD stood its man. It wasnt competition for the Interceptors and the really tricked 6's.
The sixes mainy ran against the BMW535i's.
